Macopharma sponsors Consortium of Blood Availability Meeting in Atlanta
On November 14, 2024, the Consortium of Blood Availability convened at the W Atlanta Downtown, bringing together experts and professionals for a productive and insightful scientific meeting. The event, sponsored by Macopharma, was a significant occasion for in-person reconnection and facilitated discussions on future working groups and hybrid meeting formats. Highlights included the “Review & Discussion on FDA Draft Guidance on Buffy Coat Methods” panel, with notable contributions from guest panelist Martin Robiquet, Macopharma’s Marketing Director. Additionally, a new working group was initiated under the chairmanship of Dr. Ludwig Frontier (Macopharma), following a special lecture by Isaiah Phillips of Blood Centers of America, which addressed “The Ethical Responsibility to Secure the Blood Supply: Addressing Cyber Risks, Supply Chain Vulnerabilities, and Legislative Measures.”
The meeting was marked by a strong spirit of collaboration and camaraderie, with group photos capturing these memorable moments.
