Each year, for the last 12 years, Macopharma has been mobilized during the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (EWPD). The objective is to raise awareness among our employees on the issue of disability, but also to present the possibilities of professional insertion. For this occasion, the traditional “Handicafé” was prepared and served by the ESAT of Jemmapes in Wambrechies. It has allowed a nice exchange with the employees not necessarily knowing the activities of an ESAT.
The SAcàDés association introduced us to adapted board games. The week was also sportive thanks to the challenges led by 2 stakeholders: The Handisports Committee of Hauts de France with the wheelchair table tennis and the laser shooting as well as the presentation of the BOCCIA by Dorian Delorme, from the Boccia Club of Calais. He introduced us to his sport which we support so that he can participate in the 2024 Olympic Games. Finally, the Brioche operation to benefit the PAPILLONS BLANCS of LILLE made its return. We raised €3712, this money will be used to contribute to the development of the actions towards family caregivers.
